When people complain or make dumb jokes about my personality and body.

That's where the pain comes in
Like a second skeleton
Trying to fit beneath the skin
I can't fit the feelings in

What is your most reliable body part?

Your fingers. You can always count on them!

I am sensitive about my reading comprehension and my attention issue. You sometimes get things twisted. You're not able to comprehend some things that most people find easy to understand. This is hard when you are an adult. People are more understanding when you are a child. What makes this worst is the fact that I am also emotional and a sensitive person altogether. It hurt to know that one day if I get into a conversation, as I am trying to explain myself to them that they may think I am going "on and on and on" as my Mom had harshly told me. It is just one of those things I cannot change. Something I have to cope with.

My Mood: Innocent
Iím acutely aware of my surroundings, so nearly everything Iím sensitive to. Itís like I can feel the energy in the room if Iím indoors. I think this is why I hate huge crowds.

Psychologists call this sensory processing sensitivity.

My Mood: Crappy
No offense guys but I never reveal what REALLY bothers me because people will definitely start to attack that very specific thing. It's the same reason I never reveal what I want in life. There are really crappy people out there and they use information like that against you; it has served me VERY well to not reveal it.

Having SA feels like being a scratched up LP that keeps getting stuck at exactly 10 seconds into Track 02.

That's also one of the things I'm sensitive about among other things.

I think its the way I talk
I stammer and say 'um' and 'like' a lot
And talk too fast and stutter and i can't pronounce certain sounds
Obviously i have speech issues
Any comment about the way I talk just makes me want to curl up and disappear
Doesn't even have to be mean or a joke, ANY comment and i just shut down
I had A TON of speech therapy as a kid, and it helped me a lot but it also made me SUPER self-conscious
