Some advices about fathers

I thought this was some good advice from Dr. Phil about improving one's relationship to their father though it's primarily about fathers and daughters. I don't assume that all have bad relationships with their father, but just thought it'd be helpful.

Here's a link: http://drphil.com/articles/article/133

Binh Nuoc,

That's an interesting link.
Fathers are also important (if not moreso) for sons.
With daughters, dads are the model for which many seek (or don't) in a husband and father for theit children. For guys, it's the qualities they take on from the father - "guy skills" to be the leader of the family. :yes

My dad gave me a Dr. Phil self-help book for Christmas a few years ago. Worst gift I've ever gotten, and there have been some bad ones. I tossed it straight into the garbage, where it belonged.
