Not Fitting In Anywhere

Damn it really sucks.

It makes one feel extremely ****ty. Sometimes I think it's a good thing because I won't be influenced by people, if I happen to be in a group with negative people.

But most of the time it's so lonely. And I wonder why. What is so wrong with me. I'm not that socially awkward. Actually I know why. It's due to the way I look.

Some people like me which I'm surprised at but I don't ever really fit in with any group

In high school I was in a group but was bullied and no one respected me.

mm I'm so outside of the norm that I can't comfortably talk about anything because I know everyone thinks I'm crazy.

I compartmentalise myself around the few people I have in my life, and I'm most open on this forum but not comfortably and still reluctant to talk about some stuff here in detail or in some cases at all.

Not having same interests as others really does always make me outsider instantly...

Even shy people can be sassy sometimes...
I'll put drunk raccoon in my signature as well, because I CAN...

Hello there.

May I ask all of you a question?!

1) Could you for a moment imagine putting yourself in a role of the group of people that you feel uncomfortable with.

2) Then, could you imagine looking at yourself from their eyes.

If you'd like, could you please write what you see?

I believe they probably think I'm one of the following: awkward, unfriendly, aloof, weird or not cool. Not worth their time.

I'm always made to feel "not worth their time" as I've been excluded out of so many groups all my life.

Thanks for your honest answer Cool Ice Dude.

May I ask, what makes them worthy of your time? What are their qualities/interests that are amusing to you? If you want you can answer for one of the groups in the past, or think, is there anything they have in common?

I feel like I can kinda fit in with a lot of people, but not truly fit in with anyone. I have a wide variety of interests and some of my personal beliefs and opinions are outside the norm, especially where I live.
