is it ok to sleep in almost every morning?

I've been sleeping in till 10 or 11 when I dont have work - and I've only had work 2 days a week for a while.

10 seems like a reasonable time to get up IMO

Yeah why not. If you don't have to be anywhere, you could go to bed at 5am and wake up in the afternoon - who would care? (I do that).

In a time of my life where I slept until noon, I hated myself for it and felt like I was wasting my life. Now, I wake up at 6am to go to work and miss wasting my life. So I'm gonna say yes. Sleep is sacred.

I sleep until noon or 1 PM most days when I don't have anything scheduled. But then I'm also a night owl; my ideal bedtime is around 3 AM. It then usually takes me about an hour to fall asleep and I need 9+ hours of sleep to feel not exhausted the next day.

I typically go to bed around 8-9am. I typically don't get out of bed until 3-4pm. If you don't have prior commitments, I don't understand why there would be a problem with that.

If you just enjoy your sleep, then don't feel guilty. If you had better things to do, I imagine you'd be motivated to do them instead. (And by "better things", I mean in your personal priorities).

It depends on the person. If it disrupts your sleep schedule then no its not good. I have a very hard time falling asleep at night so I can't sleep in late I have to get up by 8 AM every day, no exceptions. Or else it will be way harder to fall asleep that night.

Yeah, it's fine. I think people's natural sleep schedule can differ a lot from one person to the next. My body always wants to stay up late and sleep late, and I tend to be way more productive at night. Been that way my entire adult life. I never got used to waking up at 6 am when I had to do it for work.

Depends on your general schedule, not all of us work day shifts or want to. The only time I get up in the morning is if I have some kind of appointment. Itís also tough to keep an early riser routine without cause to do so & working a couple days a week isnít exactly cause to be up first thing every morning

Yeah I think that's totally fine, I'd normally get up around that time too if I'm sleeping in. I wish I could every day but I have to get up for work so can't do that

If you're meeting your responsibilities and getting enough sleep, whose business is it when you sleep? I've been operating on the Martian day for the last 17 years, and there's nobody around to complain.

But if sleeping in means you're getting 11 hours sleep on those days, there might be something physically wrong worth seeing a doctor about.

I don't think I could spend 10-13 hours in bed if I wanted to.

Yeah I think most people do that if they're off work or have no other obligation to be up early, some people get up at 6am to exercise, that seems like hell to me.

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death

I usually wake up around 11-12p when I don't have work that day.

The truth is strictly what the ones in power perceives it to be.

Enjoy any good things, even the little and menial ones, as you will never know what impending distresses could descend upon you in a moment.
