How do i get the most from a coach?

Recently i started going to a coach, i explained to him my issues, but he is expensive asf, and the last sessions we made i barely felt any changes, he seems to be competent. but i feel like im not getting the most of it, in fact i don't even talk a lot, so how should i get the most from him?

Is this a "life coach?" Does he have any qualifications?

I'd never even talk to someone like that - let alone actually pay them. If I were you I'd get a real therapist - someone that's qualified. Even then you need to be careful in my experience.

People like that are gonna try & milk you, kick him in the balls & tell him to get to the point.

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Oof. That's really straight to the point.

Even shy people can be sassy sometimes...
I'll put drunk raccoon in my signature as well, because I CAN...

Qualified for what? A life coach sounds more like a scam to me.
