Great job taking that step. The hard part is staying motivated an going on a consistent basis. What is your goal? Lose weight or bulk up?

No, the hard part is to actually work out in the middle of perfect strangers.
I actually escaped that by buying the most needed stuff and actually work out at home. You honestly don't need that much stuff.

The only thing I haven't liked about the gym so far are the people who decide to do those circuit workout routines where their using 5 machines at the same time.

Still thinking of one.

The gym is great but it's not about equipment. It's about taking care of your body rather than looks. Honestly maintaining when life is stabbing you in the back is when it gets hard.

Also I just want to add that exercise shouldn't be the only thing in your life. I ended up spending a lot of time and energy on exercise so when I missed an opportunity to get ahead in life (mainly because people were ignoring me as if I was some sort of meathead) and found myself waiting for hours to see a sports medicine doctor after getting a sports injury that completely undid all my gains, well, I felt preeeetty stupid!
