Flashbacks

I was just wondering if anyone else gets flashbacks of embarrassing or regretful moments in their life? I've had them for as long as I can remember and I've just googled it and it says it is caused by social anxiety which I was very relieved about because I thought it was just me

I definitely get them. When they happen I try to quickly put them out of my mind and focus on something else. It's weird though because it seems pretty random when my mind will wander to one of those memories.

This has made me feel so much better I hate the way they come and go so fast that you can't do anything to stop them

I have times when I reminisce embarrassing moments. That helps me feel better about it is thinking and pretty much knowing that no one else remembers it at all. I mean think of one embarrassing thing that someone else has done and you've seen. I can't think of one thing. And I'm sure it's much the same for everyone else, people only remember their own embarrassments. So if the memory only exists in your mind, then it's as if you made it up in your head, there's absolutely no difference.
