Ever have a panic attack that felt like a heart attack?

I only had 1 like this, but it was horrible. For 3 days my heart was racing like crazy and my arms would go numb every once in a while. I went to the doctor scared I was having a heart attack, but she said everything was normal and it was a panic attack.

Yes, it was a terrifying experience. It happened just as I was going to sleep, no trigger or anything. It was my first one and went to ER thinking I was having a heart attack.

Oh ya,have had a few.

what works for me.
--Avoid stress,think positive.
--Avoid Caffeine
--Exercise,my heart was beating around 120,went for bike ride and hardly went up.
--No salt
--work less and play more.

A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim at.

they were my worst 3 ever. 1 was in a restaraunt with my husband and son and i lied @ 1st saying i felt nauseous and had to go now. another was at restaraunt w/ a friend so i was so embarrassed and mad @ myself for ruining it because i go out on average 3timesa year. once we left the busy place and had a drink @ her house i was o.k. the other time a close couple of friends of mine & husbands were over our house (ive never b4 or since paniced @ home)! for this i have absolutely no explanation and felt like a moron!

Yep I have but they were caused by antidepressants. I had one that lasted 3 or 4 days, I paced the house for about 3 days, my chest felt like it was on fire, I cant remember all of the symptoms but I finally went to the ER on about the 3rd day, they took x-rays and stuff then gave me some xanax and sent me on my way.

Watch out for those ******* bats man.
