Cried for first time regarding loneliness

Tonight, I just cried a tiny bit (for about 30 seconds) for the first time in my life relating to loneliness. I have never felt so alone in my life, I don't know why. I have three friends whom I hang out with consistently, play soccer with like 10 kids almost every other day. I am just so lonely. I haven't cried about SA in a while, at least from what I can remember. I feel sick to my stomach all because of it. I need love, badly.

It'll be ok, while we may not be as real as your actual friends, there is an entire community of people here who know exactly what you are going through.

Much Bests

Maybe your emotions are running a little high because of this new girl interest that you have?

:hug <- for FadedLines and RawrBoy64.

It's totally manly to cry. I did myself a few days ago, but I had much more than loneliness going on. I have been through a lot in the past 18 months with my father's passing and all. Total life upheaval. There are still those moments - ride them. It's part of the process.

You actually grow....

I come close almost nightly, but I can't stop holding it in because that's all I know how to do. Besides, letting the emotions go without anybody here to listen won't relieve the pain.

I can hardly ever cry for some reason.

I'm not one of those menly men either, I'm quite a sensitive guy, but it just takes something big to push me over the edge to the point where I cry.

I find it helps to have the occasional 'deep cry'. Ya' gotta let it out sometime, or one day you'll pop.

(BTW, I don't consider men who cry weak.)

^I was crying today..I cried my guts out and now my eyes hurt...sigh, i think the feeling of loneliness is one of the worst feelings in the world, if not the worst.

You can be alone being in a crowded room. I experience this all of the time. I use to cry about it, but now I just have depression all of the time. I am around people everyday in my job, I just can't form any attachment with them. I feel like I have just moved here and I have been here for 12 years now.

It's okay to cry. I cried at first then felt frustrated. Because I thought what If I'll never find any one (as far as forming a long time relationship). What If I missed the chance and never will get It again.

Sometimes I want to cry but just can't. Usually if I watch a depressing movie I cry because it triggers so easily because it is all bundled up inside me.

I remember watching the documentary The Bridge, which is about people jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge, and it made me ball my eyes out. The whole movie they showed different people jumping but focused on one guy until they showed him jump at the very end. I quickly shut off my tv, cried, then went to bed.

I guess it wasn't the best choice in things to watch when you are emotionally unstable.

Totally agree! I have a deep cry on occasion, and I definitely feel much better about whatever is bothering me once I've completed it...

I agree too. After the deep cry it feels really good. Calm and serene. Less worrying. More compassionate. Definitely should not be suppressed. It's actually a nice thing to do.
