Hi there!


Hi everyone!
I’m brand new here. 🙂
I’m 36 and live in Montreal, Canada. I’ve been living/coping with general and social anxiety for quite a long time now. I did therapy several years ago and got to a place where I became functional again. But, as most of us know, anxiety never really goes away 🙂
Last year brought on several major changes in my life, and I just tried to distract myself with work. Unfortunately, I feel like the stress is catching up to me now.
The reason I’m here is in hope to find likeminded people, to have discussions, ask questions, hopefully get some answers, and sometimes to just vent, haha!

Rich here, just joined up and can't believe i didnt do this sooner! I'm 37, just out of a long relationship and just finished my first ever therapy course. Things are looking up, have a 6 month plan, but i keep having setbacks etc.


It's cool, im getting through it slowly. But what i can do is share my time with people. If you want someone to chat to, give me a shout

Thank you for reaching out and congrats on the therapy course accomplishment

I actually also got out of a long relationship a bit over a year ago.
The relationship and the breakup really messed me up.
And as much as I learned about myself and about strengths that I didn't expect to find, it still left me very vulnerable.

I understand if it's too personal to discuss, but I was wondering what have been your coping techniques after the breakup.

Even if our scars donít match thereís no wrong you canít make better if you can figure out a way to change your mind.

And sure thereís things I regret not doing or doing. Those thoughts climb my spine like spiders, and then Iím really the stranger in my own bed,

and that ball of nervous gets pushed into every crack. Thatís whatís holding the bricks together.
