I play piano, mostly classical music. I went to musical school for 3 years when I was younger, then quit and started again last year, progressing slowly. I definitely need to practice more, but depression is a major setback.

I can play the Cow Bell like a pro. (Edit: Every band needs a cow bell, obviously)

My sister can play the piano, drums and guitar. I tried to pick up her guitar once, but she told me off for picking it up, up-side down.
Sucks to be a lefty.

I play guitar and I like power/symphonic/heavy/classic metal (Blind Guardian is the ideal) but I'm probably no where near skilled enough to play with you.

nahh it doesnt suck to be a lefty...did you know that the allmighty jimi hendrix was a left handed guitar player? not only that but he played a right handed guitar left handed (upside down).

anyways i played piano for probably 4 years or so when i was 6, because people were telling me that i'd be a good drummer (what i wanted to play) if i played piano beforehand and get some musical vocabulary in me. so as of now ive been playing drums for 9 years. i took up guitar a few years ago too.

ive jammed with many people but havent really got to start a band.

so...as of now im a lone drummer looking for a band...to bad you're in australia hangar18...id love to jam...judging from your username you like megadeth?

drum set, bass guitar, electric/acoustic guitar, trumpet, and french horn. I've not played in a while. Although I did play snare drum last night, actually, and looked through my old practice book for some exercises. I took drum lessons for three years (I've actually been playing for about ten years), guitar lessons for a little over two (I've been playing for exactly 10 years), french horn for 6 years, and trumpet for 5. I stopped playing french horn and trumpet after high school. I haven't felt like playing anything for a while, though.

I play guitar. I'm not that great at it, I haven't tried to learn anything new in years. I keep meaning to but just never get the motivation to bother. I guess I'm about an intermediate skill level player. I can play the keyboard a little and also the harmonica.

I play guitar, but I use the term "play" in the loosest possible way. I also have a bass that I fiddle with every now and then but I'd really love to learn to play the drums one day.

I used to play guitar, but found myself playing bass lines most of the time so I tried the bass instead and haven't looked back.

Yeah, that's kind of how I got in to playing bass too.

Bass is still my favorite, but I've been playing my guitar alot more lately. I'm learning some new chords and getting fairly good at putting them all together.

My first instrument was the bassoon. That thing was almost as big as me and it was a pain to lug around.

I've been playing flute for...7 years now. I really like it. It's the only school-related thing I really enjoy.

I play some guitar. I like to just turn up the distortion and jam on heavy riffs. It's fun for me but probably not for anyone who'd have to listen to it...

I played trombone in high school and in my college marching band. The last time I played it was in the 2001 presidential inauguration parade. Haven't even opened the case since, I don't think. Also I can play a little bit of guitar. Would like to learn piano if I had the patience.

That's it, we're forming a massive SAS jam band.
