lovebirds (masked or Fischer)

I was in a pet shop yesterday and saw 2 beautiful lovebirds and felt I wanted to bring them home. Question is are they very noisy 'cos if they are I can't have them! Also are they easy to keep happy? Anyone have some and they know?
Thanks!

very noisy...I used to have one...

are they easy to keep happy? i wouldnt know how to answer that. Most are happy kept in pairs. they can be kept alone but they reqiure a lot of attention(youll hear them screaming for your attention any time your near their cage)...they also love to explore outside their cage & get into everything & shred stuff...

however I think they are the most adorable of all small parrots & they can be very funny clowns...lots of personality!

but if you want quieter birds maybe parakeets or doves would be better

Thanks mechagirl. Better not to get them as they sound like they're too noisy. I know they have great personalities but may just have to admire them in the pet shop I think unfortunately!

I wont lie to you.. they enjoy being heard.. but then again, I have 3 and theyre pretty crazy at times.. but I still wouldnt trade them for the world.
They're like my little clan of clowns, flying around, frolicking, chewing things, playing in my hair, or biting my ears.
