Labor Day - for those that work

The U.S. Department of Labor states that the holiday is in part a dedicated to the "social and economic achievements of American workers."

For those of you who work, what do you do and do you feel that you're making achievements?

"To hell with reality! I want to die in music, not in reason or in prose. People don't deserve the restraint we show by not going into delirium in front of them. To hell with them."

I'm a technical writer, and I suppose so. I've only been on the job a week and a half though.

I'm Canadian, but we have Labor Day too. Only, we call it Labour Day just to be different, ya know? I work in a health food store as a clerk/purchaser/receiver sort of person. I listen to crazy people talk about their bowel issues, mostly, and I think that is quite an achievement.
