Is anyone else here vegan?

Hello everyone, I am a proud vegan and being vegan to me is a way of life. It's almost like it's what nature intended, to eat from the earth without it harming any animal or thing which to me is valuing life in all it's glory without destroying the balance of nature down to the smallest organism, for it to persevere in an unharmed way flourishing on in total harmony.

Being vegan is also healthy and great for the mind, body and soul and has many benefits such as mentally, spiritually and physically.

This is why I love to be vegan.

So you're also proud of putting yourself in front of everyone and stating the fact that you're vegan...

Even shy people can be sassy sometimes...
I'll put drunk raccoon in my signature as well, because I CAN...

That's awesome! At least you're not harming animals because I love animals and nature and hate people that eat them, but I do however give seafood an exception.. however I really can't the stuff!

That's wonderful, welcome to the club! What is your favorite vegan dish may I ask? I really like vegan sweet potato casserole.

I am. Iíve been vegan for a little over four years now. One of the best decisions Iíve ever made.

Itís a message of compassion.

we have to realize that weíre all related.
We have to try to live harmoniously."

I'm pro-ethical and sustainable farming, not anti-meat or anti-animal products... Carnivores and omnivores have always existed naturally, and I think eating other creatures on the food chain is entirely normal.

That said, I acknowledge the fact that most modern farming and animal processing facilities are likely very cruel and inhumane. So choosing to be vegan is a selfless choice to be sure you're not supporting such practices. The only time vegans annoy me is when they push their values on others, or impose it on dependents like pet cats and children.

In terms of inedible animal products like fur clothing, it is more environmentally friendly than synthetics (i.e. plastics) as long as it's responsibly sourced.

Anyway, I'm omnivorous with no dietary restrictions.

Aerosmith Lyrics

"Eat The Rich"

Well I woke up this morning
On the wrong side of the bed
And how I got to thinkin'
About all those things you said
About ordinary people
And how they make you sick
And if callin' names kicks back on you
Then I hope this does the trick

'Cause I'm a sick of your complainin'
About how many bills
And I'm sick of all your *****in'
Bout your poodles and your pills
And I just can't see no humour
About your way of life
And I think I can do more for you
With this here fork and knife

[Chorus:]
Eat the Rich: there's only one thing they're good for
Eat the Rich: take one bite now - come back for more
Eat the Rich: I gotta get this off my chest
Eat the Rich: take one bite now, spit out the rest

So I called up my head shrinker
And I told him what I'd done
Said you'd best go on a diet
Yeah I hope you have some fun
And a don't go burst a bubble
On the rich folks who get rude
'Cause you won't get in no trouble
When you eats that kinda food
Now their smokin' up the junk bonds
And then they go get stiff
And they're dancin' in the yacht club
With Muff and Uncle Biff
But there's one good thing that happens
When you toss your pearls to swine
Their attitudes may taste like ****
But go real good with wine

[Chorus]

Wake up kid, it's half past your youth
Ain't nothin' really changes but the date
You a grand slammer, but you no Babe Ruth
You gotta learn how to relate
Or you'll be swingin' from the pearly gate
Now you got all the answers, low and behold
You got the right key baby but the wrong key hole, yo

Believe in all the good things
That money just can't buy
Then you won't get no belly ache
From eatin' humble pie
I believe in rags to riches
Your inheritance won't last
So take your Grey Poupon my friend
And shove it up your ***!

[Chorus]

Eat the Rich: there's only one thing they're good for
Eat the Rich: take one bite now - come back for more
Eat the Rich: don't stop me now I'm goin' crazy
Eat the Rich: that's my idea of a good time baby

And I always thought this would be
the land of milk and honey
Oh but I came to find out that it's
all hate and money
And there's a canopy of greed holding me down.
