How would you rate your quality of life currently on a scale of 1 to 10?

How would you rate your quality of life currently on a scale of 1 to 10? 1 rating being your in the 10 level of hell and 10 rating being your the best you have ever been.

I think I would put my rating at about a 6.5 or a 7. Doing good money wise where im able to buy enjoyable things and travel. Have a decent job. Its not a passion by any stretch of the imagination buts its a solid job. Still struggling with anxiety that is been going on forever. Bit better then it was at an earlier time in life. Could use some more friends as well. Have some good acquaintances but no real close friends.

So I would say im doing a lot better then other times in my life but certainly no where near a 10. What about you?

3?

I'm not starving, not in complete isolation yet. Have someone to chat with now and I'm happy she reached out. But aimless and spiritually a weak flame. Not much life experience and little hope for the future.

Don't let people treat you like dirt.

8.5. Only reason it isn't a 10 is (-1) diabetes can be annoying sometimes and (-0.5) I forgot to get a Diet Coke from the vending machine when I was on 3rd floor, so I will either have to go all the way back up there or settle for without.

I'm the best I've ever been and I hope I continue to get better.

In terms of social life though... I'm like 5/10

Probably only about a 6 or so. My life was a lot better in the past - it's been hard for the last few years, plus I've had a range of health problems. Getting stronger though slowly and this new psychiatrist and medication seem like they might work out.

Realistically, my "quality of life" has never been above a 3. Though my state of mind has compensated for it in the past (because when your circumstances and chances of changing them are ****, you'd better be able to just accept them and distract yourself for as long as you can).

I would say prior to the year 1998 or so, my "quality of life" was close to 5 in that things were far from perfect but I didn't care (and didn't have to). That's to say I was about as happy and comfortable as can be expected under the circumstances. Starting around that time, a series of events began that started wearing me down and incrementally backing me into corners that I didn't even know existed.

So now. I guess I'd put it where it really always was. A 3 (and that's generous).

1 included with the experience of having no career, no income, no social support from people at all, sleep issues, and heart issues. My environment induce my anxiety through waves, and I'm more isolated in a city with people who are socially incompetent.

My old environment in Florida causes less anxiety, distractions, tension, and I had a more mature sleep than the city. I went from 9.5 to 1.

Usually hovering between 4-5. In good times, it can go up to a 6. But at times it will be dragged down to a 1 in an instant, where I will usually have to go through weeks or months of hell to climb back up to a 4. Then rinse & repeat.

The truth is strictly what the ones in power perceives it to be.

Enjoy any good things, even the little and menial ones, as you will never know what impending distresses could descend upon you in a moment.

5.5

Mainly because I'm relatively healthy (physically speaking) & managing to keep a job currently so I can buy sweets & ice-cream, it would likely lose 2 points otherwise.

Finding a reason to carry on is a continual act of self-deception. Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

An insane person gets killer heels by using their heels to kill.

Which sounds like a movie premise: Killer Heels: Six Inches of Death. A great double entendre for a transploitation film.

I feel like I'm possibly reinforcing negative stereotypes about trans people. But if ya can't beat em, join em.

Reinforcing positive stereotypes from my point of view that trans people can be cool, I grew up around the old school crowd religious teachings way that trans, queer & pedos etc were all the same.
