How many pillows do you need to sleep?

& How close is your wall to the bed or your bed to the wall or whatever?

Also, if there is a wall involved, do you face the wall or give it your back?

---

PS. It's the just for fun section. + I love pillows and walls if you couldn't guess that already.

the truth may vary

One pillow to cuddle. Not joking, I actually do that a lot.

Just one. But I usually wake up with my head below the pillow on the mattress so I guess I don't even really use it.

The headboard is up against the wall. It's like right against it. So, close.

I think this thread was made before but I suppose most thread ideas are used up now, 3 pillows, but I only really use 2.

I have a wall at the headboard & a wall, radiator & window on the right side, it's old style single layer glass so good on a stormy winter night like tonight for listening to wind & rain & contemplating the meaning of life.

I could wake up facing either way, usually sleep on sides, not back or front.

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Three. One under my head. One to wrap my arms around. One in between my legs.

Three, but it depends on the pillows. I used to like facing the wall, but now I don’t really have one except behind my head. I never have sheets above me because I don’t like them.

Two. One against the wall behind my bed and the other on top of that at an angle.

I currently have five pillows on my bed but I only use two of them. The head of my bed is against the wall.

Almost always just one, and I usually tuck my hand under my pillow. If I'm sick I might use 2 pillows to elevate my head, helps with colds.

It depends how thick the pillows are. At home I use two, plus I have two more on the other side of the bed. (For symmetry and to give the illusion that someone else actually sleeps there.)

The bed's in the middle of the room - but I always have to sleep on the left side for some reason. I have no idea why. My wife thinks it's hilarious that I can't sleep on the other side. It is pretty ridiculous actually.

I have two pillows. My bed is against the wall and I prefer the side that's closest to the wall but which side I'm facing varies. I'm pretty much happy as long as I get to sleep alone lol

“They called me the hyacinth girl.”
—Yet when we came back, late, from the Hyacinth garden,
Your arms full, and your hair wet, I could not
Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
Looking into the heart of light, the silence.

Depends. Sometimes I use one, sometimes I have to sleep sort of propped up on a pillow slope. My bed is pushed up against the wall, but I sleep opposite to the headboard because my house has a problem with spiders and I get too many spiders crawling up the wall behind my bed. I can't sleep with my head near a wall anymore.

Been using only one ever since I got a pillow like this. Although it does take some getting use to. Before this, I was usually using around two. Three pillows if they are not firm. Being a side sleeper is tough.

Also, my mom used to tell me a disgusting story of finding me with a cockroach over me when I was a baby in that room. So I had this scary idea every time we went there in my childhood of waking up with a cockroach on my face

Spiders are relatively cute (especially the long legged ones).
I woke up one morning when I was a kid and found my bed crawling with winged ants. (They were crawling all over me, too, obv.) My bed was right beside a door that led to a flat rooftop and apparently they'd come in through the gap under the screen door. I must have looked like a good place to build a nest. Needless to say, I was traumatized.

And spiders are terrifying. (But the long legged ones aren't as bad.)
