Favorite/Least Favorite Halloween Candy?

What is your favorite and least favorite Halloween candy?

As a kid it was always the popular chocolate brands Reese's, M&M's, Hershey's, Snickers. Sometimes Starburst and Skittles were okay but I preferred chocolate over fruity candy.

Least favorite would be Tootsie rolls.

I’ve never gone trick or treating, but Ghost Drops are probably Halloween food. They would be my least favourite because they taste like the smell of a vacuum cleaner.

I looked them up and see they color your mouth. Don't remember seeing candy before that did this, also they sound like something mostly for kids having fun. But your vacuum cleaner comment made me chuckle.

I always hated candy apples, honestly my favorite Halloween food is probably nature's candy, nuts, though I like a few witch shaped jellies too.

My favorite halloween candy off the top of my head and memory..

Probably Reeses, Snickers, Twix, Crunch. Oddly enough I also liked Smarties.

Least favorite is probably Butterfingers, 100 Grand, Mounds Bar/Almond Joy, Milk Duds or Abba Zaba.

Most memorable ones was getting a 3 pack Ferro Roche, a stick of Toblerone

Enjoy any good things, even the little and menial ones, as you will never know what impending distresses could descend upon you in a moment.

I never had those (never heard of them) and I don't think I want them.

I only really remember going once when I was like 15 because my friend wanted to go. It's also not as big a thing here and has become less so as I've aged from what I've noticed. Some people will have costume parties though, and adults like drinking. I don't remember what sweets we got, but we did get some people giving us spare change.

In general I don't remember eating specific Halloween foods. I once ate one of those fake eyeballs (not at Halloween,) it made me want to throw up I don't like that jelly kind of thing.

Fave- Hershey's with almonds or m&m's.
Least- Anything jelly beany or super sticky to my teeth. (I really have to be in the mood to even eat Starburst and Skittles.) And candy corn is just an abomination made by the devil himself.

Miles to go before I sleep. Vale.

No lol that's just my thing of the week, I actually think I ended up going not dressed up. I went to some Halloween parties in casual clothing too lol. But my clothes were usually alternative looking anyway one year I just came as a 'witch' wearing stuff that was already in my wardrobe lol.

I like the idea of dressing up but I'm not a fashion designer and these things can get expensive. I did manage to pull together a creepy Alice in Wonderland once. Sort of based on this character:

https://bloody-disgusting.com/wp-con...9291160826.jpg

I found this dress that might have been an oversized top because I'm small in primark (cheap clothing store here,) and then like ripped up a bedsheet I think and borrowed someone else's fakeblood.

but my hair was multicoloured at the time and I didn't have a wig so that was a bit fail.

Peanut butter and chocolate is a good combination any time of the year, hehe.

I also really like these peanut butter chewy taffy things.

@SamanthaStrange

Yep. I hated those when I was a kid but I grew to love them later.

I actually liked the candy corn but the texture of the shell used to weird me out.

my favorite is reese's pieces, my least favorite is reese's peanut butter cups because for some reason they hurt my teeth, too sweet or something

Smarties were my favorite as a kid. My least favorite too is probably Tootsie Rolls. I like candy apples, Skittles and Starburst. When we would go to my grandma's house she used to have some candy that was like a cracker and was a white color and I think had black stripes on it. I used to like those but I can't remember the name of it.

Underneath the cold November sky, I wait for you... As the pages of my life roll by, I wait for you... I'm so desperate just to see your face, meet me in this broken place...

!

I have always put Snickers at the top of my list even though I also like Milky Way, Crunch, Krackel, Baby Ruth, 3 Musketers, and Peanut M&Ms.

I think I'd definitely still go for a Snickers today but I much prefer dark chocolate now. Doesn't need to have salt, nuts, whatever. Just chocolate.

I NEVER liked Whoopers. They are the worst thing ever—right next to candy corn and twizzlers (no offense ). Today, I've come to find that I don't like hard candy as much. I liked Tootsie Rolls as a kid but today they're just a pain to enjoy. Same goes for any milk chocolate. It's worse with regular M&Ms now. I start sweating for no reason. Same thing with Skittles.

Though I have always made it my practice to be pleasant to everybody, I have not once actually experienced friendship. I have only the most painful recollections of my various acquaintances ..."

Yes lol . But as a kid you'd often get stuck with cheaper candy like Tootsie Rolls, candy corn, smarties, suckers around this time of year. Also they've been having fall themed candy like pumpkin spice M&Ms and bags of dark chocolate Kit Kats. I haven't tried some of the new creations but they seem interesting.

Yes it's a great combo. They have peanut butter Oreo's now which are a tasty snack, and for a while they had Reece's flavored Oreo's.
