Do you beleive in Chinese horoscopes

Do you believe in Chinese horoscopes?

For example there are 12 animals and 12 year cycles in the Chinese horoscope
You look at your birth year and it tells you what animals year you were born on. and what personality traits you have due to that.

It can then further tell you which other animal horoscopes you are compatible with in friendship, business, love relationship and what troubles you may have with them also. You are even able to find the % of how much you will get along with that person.

Although I have been aware of this for a long time, I have recently looked into it more thoroughly and feel it is very fairly accurate. I looked at how my birth years animal gets along with people that are close to me or I have been friends with in the past, and everything it says is very true...

Thats fair,
At one point I disagreed with regular horoscopes, and i do but only to the extent of people talking about how your day is going to turn out for example.

These are a little different..

I donít follow it religiously, or horoscopes in general really, like AllGlad mentioned itís mainly for amusement or humor. All I know is apparently I was born in the year of the dog based on the Chinese New Year.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."

It's not something I know much about - or ever really put to the test, so I couldn't really say. But it could be fun to look at it.

It's a bunch of bunk and confirmation bias.

I used to believe in the zodiac and western horoscopes when I was a preteen though.

Do you beleive in Chinese horoscopes

i dont really find the year makes a difference in personality, but i do think the months do. i find people born in february or early march are more introverted and have a temper compared to someone born in the summer. i had two friends born in early winter or late autumn and they were a bit cynical but not as neurotic as later in the winter

Chinese horoscopes are any horoscopes for that matter are all confirmation bias. You read and hear what you want to read and hear.

The truth is strictly what the ones in power perceives it to be.

Enjoy any good things, even the little and menial ones, as you will never know what impending distresses could descend upon you in a moment.

I don't but for some reason literally every single girl around me believes in horoscopes (either Chinese zodiac or western horoscopes) and whenever one of them tells me what my horoscope of the day, week, month or year says; I just feel another one of my brain cells just slowly fizzling out.

Yes, totally. At some point I also found this hilarious website that had detailed explanations about romantic/sexual relations between different signs, all in some sort of bizarre Mandarin-English dialect. Everything was true. I'm a dragon and I'm a believer!

Yes I am a rat, sounds about right

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

This.

I like reading my horoscopes even tho I don't believe in it. It's fun, especially when it's the opposite of how I view myself : )

I'm the monkey btw
