I do believe you must define this a little better.

Spirit? Spirit animal? My soul? My guardian angel? My chosen deity of worship? My zest - my 'umph'?

Mine clearly is a cursed spirit by someone who must have drowned puppies in a past life.

I have the outward appearance of someone who has led a blessed life, but really has had to fall short of happiness at many turns.

What works so easily for others is a mountain for me.

Heavy. Weighed down by ghosts of the past that live on through my emotions and physiology. But it's getting lighter. There's actually a feeling of lightness when I've processed some past **** and am suddenly more grounded in the present, more fully embodied here and now rather than battling against some emotion I suppressed 3 decades ago when my experience wasn't allowed.

Miles to go before I sleep.

Know your ACE (adverse childhood experiences) score?
Sometimes, SA is a symptom of significant developmental, attachment or interpersonal trauma (emotional neglect counts). If you're still stuck after you've tried SA treatments such as CBT and exposure, research C-PTSD and see if it resonates. Here's an awesome resource. Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving

Originally probably too innocent for earth, Now... its just tired, it's seen enough, it wants out, but it's it's own fault for wanting to come here in the first place, it's gonna have to stew for a while now, cause bailin out early is gonna cause more harm than good, so in the meantime it wants to maybe try to make other downtrodden, trapped spirits feel a little better.

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Dusty. Very dusty.

Thank you. I think we all have a little darkness or at least I know I do. Which reminds me that the Norse goddess Hel is a really good symbol of humanity's dual nature. Both alive and dead, half beautiful and half ugly, light and dark, two parts inseparable from one another.

as an aside... i remember seeing a flyer or concert poster at the dump with basically this on it... when i was very young. and there had been a dead sheep in the boot of the car. i don't think we would have taken a dead sheep to the dump (!?) lol. but the 2 incidents must have coincided somehow. so yeah i remember the dump (pretty mysterious place) + the smell of a dead sheep + the flyer and altogether it had some kind of mystical significance to me. i guess death themed kind of weird interesting stuff for a really young kid (probably around 5 y/o).

but yeah on the inside I'm full of judgement of people. not entirely rational. theres a power in having strong values. resolute. but also being in a world of disgusting values, it's one against all the rest. even though these are values that most people agree with, they just don't embody them.

on the outside obviously I'm a fairly ineffective at influencing anyone and I keep to myself etc. but that's why they call it spirit I guess because it's not real in most contexts. a mixture of feelings and ideology and other narratives. this is just one narrative. but I feel like sharing it is over sharing because its obviously ridiculous. but bleh I'm allowed to have fun and make up stories. or something.

Depends.

If we're talking literal, metaphysical spirit then definitely non-existent. I don't believe in spirits, souls, ghosts, etc.

If we're talking qualities, I'd say pragmatic, logic-driven, detail-oriented, honest, naturally inquisitive and skeptical. But also lazy and self-absorbed.
