Caffeine Appreciation Thread

I love caffeine so much. I usually avoid drinking it everyday but the odd time I do it puts me in such a great mood!! Makes me sweat and blush a whole lot though, but whatevs.

It even makes me slightly outgoing if I drink enough and I'm in the right situation. Anything that can make me even somewhat outgoing deservers major propz!
And of course it helps me get loads of work done.

Anyone else love caffeine as much as I do?! (I'm sure there are many).

I drink loads of coffee and tea. can't say I notice much of an effect on my psyche, probably due to drinking too much. occasionally (rarely due to the price) I'll drink a couple Jolts though and I do enjoy the energy.

I gave up caffeine as well, and feel so much better for it! Try it, you'll be amazed. You actually have more energy when you don't use caffeine, and we all know the kind of effect it has on anxiety. Ask any good psych- caffeine, sugar, and nicotine all make anxiety so much worse.

I drink lots of water everyday. It's what people are supposed to drink! Seriously, all of these carbonated, sugary drinks is not what nature intended for us to live on! I also enjoy decaf coffee and tea and decaf diet free coke, but only in moderation. It's important to drink lots of water everyday, for a variety of reasons.

When I first quit, I did have withdrawal symptoms for about a week. Headaches, exhaustion, etc. I had been drinking about 6 cups of coffee or 3 or 4 cokes everyday for years. In the South, we grow up on really strong black coffee, so I do know all about caffeine and the effects it has on you. I used to love that first cup in the morning, but I realized that it was mainly for the taste. Now, a good cup of decaf or green tea is just as good.

I drink caffeinated soda all the time but never really notice a difference, I don't think it affects my behavior or anything. I have never been into coffee or tea.

It hardly holds a candle to beer, but a couple of black coffees are the only thing that wake me up. I drink coke all day too, caffeine is the second best drink.

Guess I am an anomoly, I love the taste of coffee and it doesn't help me stay awake . I once worked the deep night shift and cafenated coffee was no help to keep me up. Cafenated coffee tastes better than decaff.

Yeah I drink about 10 to 15 cups of hot tea a day.
I know a couple of times I had atleast 25 cups and had caffeine jitters/shakes too. One time I tried quitting but I got a terrible headache so I scratched that idea and been enjoying caffeine ever since.
