Are you addicted to anything?

On Tuesday it'll be 2 weeks since I've had a cigarette. This is a big deal to me because I haven't lasted this long (or even a couple days) without a smoke in about 6 years. It's still really hard for me not to think about having one. Especially late at night when I'm having trouble sleeping or first thing in the morning. Anyway...what are you addicted to? If anything

I don't know if you want to restrict this to substances. If not,

* SAS
* coke zero
* staying up all night

that's about all I can think of.

Caffeine. I know that's softcore but it's pretty bad. I've gotten really lethargic and had some pretty awful headaches from going without. I'm trying to stop it since it's supposedly bad for anxiety.

Hello neighbor Used to be smoking and Klonopin. I haven't had a cigarette in a little over a month now and I haven't had a single dose of Klonopin in almost 2 weeks.

The funniest thing is that using medical marijuana stopped the withdrawal symptoms from Klonopin right away. Especially a strong indica.

Wow great job. Stick with it and hopefully those cravings will subside. Addiction really sucks, when it's to the point of doing it out of habit instead of out of desire. It's scary how addiction can push us way beyond moderation, into a dark and brainwashing obsession.

I'm addicted to entering a vegetative site on my computer by posting on forums and looking at YouTube videos so I don't have to do anything frightening or frustrating.

I used to smoke. I quit on Thanksgiving Day 2010. It wasn't easy but now I cannot even stand the smell of cigarettes. I will never go back.

Klonopin is about 100 times harder because going cold turkey is dangerous so I am doing an Ashton-method like taper (using a scale rather than doing the liquid titration) and I have almost cut my daily dose in half. It's hell getting off this crap and when I am finally off it I will never take anything like it again.

Pot makes me paranoid and I get random testing at my job. It's legal in my state so I could get it if I wanted it. But even if I could smoke it I wouldn't.

I'm addicted to being alone, which is problematic when I actually want to make a friend and when it finally happens, I end up sabotaging myself by receding into my own little world and trying to avoid contact with anybody else for months at a time.

On a lighter note, I can't stop spending money on packages of Very Berry Starburst. I'll probably lose all my teeth before I reach 30 years old because of all the sugary foods I eat.
