true life: i live another life on the web

i'm not too sure if we're allowed to post social anxiety related forum in this section but the other sections aren't really related to the topic. i was just thinking about my favorite episode of true life and i thought some other users on here might find it interesting.

is that with that tall thin girl strawberry blonde with glasses who has SA, and goes bowling with friend and his friends, and she strips on the web for money?

If it is than I saw it-I think that's what helped me find this site and join it-She's part of this site too, isn't she?

then i watched that part when judy (the one with glasses) goes bowling and i totally related to her. i searched up panic disorders and came across SAS.com

oh cool, that was very interesting. just kind of bothers me how a cute girl can get free rent money from some guy she's never met.

Haha I watched this episode while in holidaying in America at the start of the year. It made me think I really should do something about my SA/shyness. At the end where it says that she joined an online support group, I thought ooh what a good idea/way to start! A bit of googling later and here I am.

I've seen that episode too. I didn't know she posted on this website though. What is her user name?

Do you mean True Life? Haha.

I acciently read it as True Blood at first too.

I love True Life, it's one of the few MTV shows that I actually like.

I know what you mean. Although, I must admit I liked Rob & Big too. That would be pretty much it.

It was weird watching this again since I had a very similar nightmare experience at a bowling alley last week. I can completely relate to the subject too. In the past I've done music semi-anonymously that gained a small cult following years later via music download blogs. I even found out that I had a surprising amount of female fans, yet if they ever saw me in real life I'd just be another "schlep on the bus" as Killer Kane from the NY Dolls once put it. ****ing depressing.

I don't think it's any different then somebody else getting money for their artistic talent. If you're good at making people happy then it pays off.

She's beautiful btw, and must be pretty smart too.
