Windows Vista won't Update.

I always get the message "Windows can't look for updates" and when I try to update it I get the Error code 8007000B. I don't know what any of this means. Help. Please.

Try turning your firewalls off when you update.

should fix the problem. some how or some way one or more of your background processes must have been disabled that controls windows update.

if you want to know more about the processes that your pc runs check out:

ctrl+alt+del>start task manager>click the processes tab

then enter the exact process into the above websites search and it will give you the skinny on what it controls and affects as well as gives a recommendation as to its importance. just some additional info
