Windows Media Player
Does anyone know how to check what version of WMP you have? I right clicked on it but it doesn't say.

Open your media player, go in help menu, then go in about media player. Your version should be in there somewhere.

I think if you have all the updates and service packs for windows all that should be current for WMP. Otherwise go to the Windows Updates site, let it scan and it will give you important update suggestions. You should have service pack 3. I would suggest downloading that if you don't have it.

if you go to My Computer and add/remove programs, it should say next to Windows Media Player.
mine does, but i have it updated so it might just be for the more updated versions

Click Help
Click About Windows Media Player
It tells you what version there.
