That thought has crossed my mind, yes.

I find it's better not to think about that too deeply. Just find a nice girl and make more babies. Maybe go to a baseball game or go on a holiday.

I've thought about it, but its a question that can't be answered with a specific purpose. Instead I guess you can make it what ever you want it to be, enjoy the time you got.

Maybe just happened to happen.... we would exist in one way or another. Perhaps in another life form.
How many life forms ceased to exist without the answer to this question? Would the answer satisfy us?
This question just exists because we exist. We create our reality.
Maybe this a big game and in the end we compare to another civilizations how far we went. Would be cool.

Well, I don't touch the religious part...

Good question by the way

Doing things to ensure the continuance of the human race for as long as possible. And other species and things that we enjoy for our own amusement and leisure.

Enjoy any good things, even the little and menial ones, as you will never know what impending distresses could descend upon you in a moment.

If I fail to adapt to the fault of others, it is my fault.

You know when a dog has fleas ? Well I think we're planet fleas, we exist to bite it & make it itchy, that's why it's going round in circles, cause we're driving it crazy.

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I can't speak for the rest of humanity, but I mostly just keep myself entertained. I think others get a kick out of trying to make people feel miserable, some get high off of some sort of status so they feel more important than others. Some just like to create things, others like to explore. A few love to seek out how things work, then you have people who wander around asking "why", why why why, why? They seem to do that until they finally drive themselves mad and cling on to some belief or another.

If you are looking for some ultimate purpose, well..

Beats me.. There could be some purpose that I am unaware of, but I haven't placed any faith in one. I stopped looking for a purpose for it all, and became comfortable with the idea that there may be no purpose, or if there is one I may never know what it is.

Live and let live

We're here because of evolution. We do what our evolutionary instincts instruct us to do and it appears they are hastening us towards our collective demise. It's about time.

Suffering.

Quote:
Fortunately, research cited in this year’s report also suggests that unhappy people can fight for change. Studies find that nations who are less satisfied as a whole tend to vote against incumbent politicians, and that election results can make a nation happier.
Tbh the election results bummed me out more than I thought they would. It's like not only fighting the opponents but also fighting what is essentially controlled opposition in the form of neoliberalism.

The wretched world we’re living in at present was not an unlucky war of fate; it was an economic and political decision made without consulting the enormous human population that it would most drastically affect. If we would have it otherwise, if we’d prefer a future that we can call home, then we must stop supporting — even passively — this ravenous, insatiable conservative agenda before it devours us with our kids as a dessert. - Alan Moore
