Post something objectively true

Post statements or quotes you think are objectively true.

Please don't make statements about your internal states even if objectively true. (e.g. "I feel sad today ... ", etc)

Also, please don't write random obvious facts, unless there's some point to it, or 'just' personal opinions obviously. (Think of something you could possibly write in Wikipedia (NPOV))

When quoting someone, please stick to the same rules.

The subject of your post doesn't matter. Post about whatever you like.

I'm posting in the Science and Philosophy section since it seems the most appropriate.

Since this is in the science and philosophy forum, I'm assuming your question is philosophical? Are you looking for a 1:1 correlation between experience and reality? It gets a bit tricky when you put "objective" in front of truth. "Logic is objective" assumes logic to be an objective criteria by which to determine that it is.

Oh, it wasn't a question. Think of it like the "random thoughts" thread, but with additional constraints. I will start using it for posting quotes later.

There is no arbiter of what is objectively true or not, which is why I said "Post statements or quotes you think are objectively true."

Report abuse to an administrator or moderator, and don't respond to abusive comments (a futile effort commonly known as "feeding the trolls.")
