New Secret to increase Your Strength


Take caffeine prior to workout. I find coke does wonders on days I want to train hard. It got me to a new max on chest I'm pretty darn strong on this now. If I can get up another 5 pounds I'll be with the steroid users at my gym in strength not size, lol. Try it out. Only thing is it can give you a dull headache temporarily at least for me.

I used caffeine occasionally before a workout, it really can help but nothing dramatic. The workouts are much easier with a nice energy boost though.

I know you can see me. Bad guys always see me. My plans suck. People die. It's always a mess.

caffeine lasts like 5 seconds man during a workout!

well not really that short! But it has the worst come downs EVER!

Why do you think nobody drinks anything with caffeine pre and post workout?

You must really tolerant of the stuff. It lasts around ~30-60 minutes for me. I drink my Diet Pepsi on the drive to the gym, I've really cut back on the stuff though. I use to be addicted, not even a diet soda a day anymore! Victory!

I don't like caffeine prior to workouts cause it dehydrates me. A lot of bodybuilders take it though making sure they take ample fluids as well.

Yeah. And to whoever says doesn't work? It's caused my bench to go up 10 pounds.

But I also drink very little caffeine so when it does hit my system it lasts pretty long. And I drink 1 gallon+ of water in a day generally so I get plenty of fluids.

But what if you work out for an hour? yea it increses your energy maybe for the first exercise you do, but then don't you crash out and feel drained once it wears off ?

I don't crash out on caffeine, some do though and once I get my blood pumping, I'm ready to roll! It usually lasts me about 30 minutes to an hour or so.

Hmm well after reading up on this it seems you guys are right. Although i wouldn't know what form to have it, guess a cup of coffee? definetely not a can of soda though :P I always thought caffeine was a no-no before a workout but was wrong.
