I usually ignore ants in the house. I never find them in food because I usually buy food in antresistent (or antproof) packaging. Common ants are harmless. My parents go nuts if they see a few ants but all of their food is canned or refrigerated anyway so why do they care?

The only thing that bothers me is if I start finding a lot of them crawling on the counters and so forth. Not in a "that's not sanitary!" sort of way but it just annoys me. I don't see ants as dirty bugs. I wouldn't want to eat them though. So I guess it kind of annoys me if they're on the counter because of the possibility they could get in my food. Like I just wouldn't want to eat an ant because it's disgusting to think about eating bugs.
