How much more do you have to study? Are there any holidays soon?
I hope you are enjoying the weekend.

I am also hopefully beginning to recover now but still I am taking antibiotics. It is good that you have recovered from your cold. Keep well and stay safe! :) Everything will be fine. Do you have fun at school?

Everything is fine. It has done no damage.
I am staying at home today because I caught cold. Yet there is some work I can do even from home. I am waiting for the doctor still, need to get a sick leave.
    How have you been?

Hi Tom! My Friday was OK as well. I was at work.
Today I woke up at about early in the morning to feel the walls of the apartment slightly shaking. It turned out there was an earthquake! I was shocked.

You had water in your lungs? This is a serious condition. Did the doctors have to make an incision to remove the liquid? I have heard of such stories here. It is dreadful.

Yeah, stress can weaken the immune system and the person becomes vulnerable to infections. Some years ago I was working at another place and it was much worse though. I kept struggling till I finally got some flu that grew into a pneumonia though I was taking meds. Everything ended with a long lasting hospitalization for me at that time. So you are quite right to say that stress is connected with being open to infection.
I do not get almost any relief by meds. Regular painkillers do not work for me. I tried special anti migraine meds but they seem to be addictive. So I had to refuse those things and turn back to general NSIDs.

My job sometimes gives me much stress. I am overcoming a bad and long lasting migraine starting since yesterday. It created some problems with my work since I asked my boss for a day off or at least some hours off. But there was some urgent issue arising. But finally it was resolved by other workers as soon as I came to the office. So I was allowed to go home. Still, I have some translations to do.
My cooking is just the usual stuff like backed potatoes, beef, veggies, and some milk.
Your daily routine seems quite busy and useful for health. It is great that you swim. I could never learn to swim to be honest. :)

I see what you mean about pretending. Indeed, I don't like it when people fake sweetness and hide their mean intentions. It is better to avoid the people you feel uncomfortable with in that way if you sense they are false. It is very unsafe to deal with them.
My work has been quite busy today as well and I had to stay in the office till 6 p.m. Then cook something for tomorrow as I have made up my mind to carry my dinner with me because cafeteria is too expensive. And now I have some time to relax and take a shower and then off to bed. :)
What do you usually do in the evening?

Hi Tom! I am sorry for a late reply. I've been very busy at work and when I come home I feel very tired and get lazy. :)
Knitting is very interesting indeed, and it's rather relaxing. There is nothing difficult about it unless the pattern you choose requires much attention.
My work gives me some challenges all the time and I never know what is waiting for me there. Yesterday I had to deal with two Korean guys who were interested in the education here (they wanted to learn some Ukrainian because they needed it to run some business here in my country). So I had to talk to them and show them around. Today it was some calmer but with lots of things to keep in mind and problems to solve.
How has your work been? You have started working with your father, right? Or not yet?
    Have a pleasant weekend!

Hi Tom! You know, I am beginning to like you more and more. In spite of your young age you show very good thoughts, sound judgments, and reasonable points. You seem very goal-oriented as well. It is good you are getting a job with your father. It will give you a start and then you will find something better maybe. You will have work experience and this is important. I approve it. :)
My hobbies... well, I am fond of knitting, sewing, and writing. Recently, I have developed another hobby of helping the people on the SAS forum as good as I can. I try to support the people in their hard life situations and this has been gratifying since many people respond with positive ideas.
Yet I have to struggle with difficulties at work and my loneliness which is the absence of a beloved person - the one to share my life with. But I don't want to complain now.

Hi Tom! To determine your interests and start some hobbies you need to try doing something new (I mean, something good). Like, drawing, or woodworking, or gardening etc. By the way, I think you have a good writing skill so you could create some story line and develop it into something nice. Do you like music, poetry, photography? There should be something for your soul. What do you do in your free time? If you see some very good job done by someone who is perfect at something you might get interested in it and then research it maybe and start trying to do it yourself? Like for example, if you are impressed by some famous picture/canvass you may be interested to start painting yourself. :) But it is only an example. I have a few hobbies but my time is very limited for those things I like.

So the doctor sounds nice, that is good. The SA is a hard thing to cope with and I wish you good luck in this struggle. Hope you can overcome it and you won't get dropped out of college. In the meantime, enjoy some creative things and some hobbies and you will maybe feel a little easier and more confident with people because you will have something to discuss. By the way, your writing is very good. :)

You can call me that, or you can call me Rusty or Russ, my nicknames.

I have been prescribed with sulfur cream, which I have to apply twice daily. It has worked wonders, and I hardly ever blush anymore. Also, a lot of it was psychological. I would get really red in the cheeks and they would feel like they were on fire. And when I would think about it, it would feel like they would get redder and hotter. Eventually, after I stopped thinking about it as much, it slowly started to go away.

HI Tom. It's OK about the delay in writing. I have been quite busy at my work recently.
So you have put down your symptoms on a sheet of paper to show it to the doctor? I am sometimes also quite shy to speak aloud about some unpleasant symptoms. And again, speaking about something disturbing can enhance the blushing. So he told you to come back when you would be 18... but you have the ongoing problem right now so inst there any non-addictive remedy for your disorder now? This is a little strange. There are various heart meds that are non addictive. I do not quite understand why the doctors usually prescribe those heavy and addictive drugs... I don't know what to say. Just keep well. I am quite emotional as well and it is sometimes hard to keep it in control.

Did you consult a doctor about it? Maybe there is some treatment. But you shouldn't be afraid of it. Nice and understanding people should know that it's not some drawback about you, it is just a little emotional reaction. By the way, are you quite emotional and easily excited?
