    hi

If you’re anything like I used to be, then you know how uncomfortable this is. It sucks to be talking to someone and suddenly your mind goes blank and you can’t think of what to say. You may be screaming inside to yourself: "Just say anything!" but it doesn't work.

I know where you got your sas username from now! I was watching Superbad last week and when I heard Steven Glansberg I was like huh...that sounds really familiar.

Yeahk, every scene with Rhea made me cringe and choke. She was so nasty! And I know what you mean about taking a break from the series. I'm not even 1/3 of the way into the 5th book and I've already had it 2 weeks.

4th book isn't that bad. Gets a little better going into Roland's past and some of the new characters are pretty cool. There are sex scenes if that counts :lol Like it a lot better than the 3rd one. But still...some parts that are just :wtf or a little gross. You'll know what I mean. It's certainly more suspenseful.

I've considered moving out but right now I don't have the means. I lived on my own far away a year ago and my mother actually went as far as drive up to where I lived to spy on me and my (psycho) roommates. *sigh* With my mother, things get a little complicated.

It's really creepy that you mentioned that. Because I'm also currently on the 3rd book only more like 300 pages in. Completely agree with you. First book was alright. Then the second book made me cringe a bit. It felt like a silly movie and I didn't like how he started changing time periods. Really ruined the Epic Western feeling of the series.

Third one is getting me back into it and the writing feels a bit better. But yeah....all I'm going to say about what I've read so far is: demonf***. :lol

I'm sure you're saving a lot of money living at home. And my parents don't let me hang out with my only 2 friends because they're religious, they know my friends still drink and they know if I hang out with them even for one measily day it will lead to no good. It's mostly cultural clash. It's like "mom if you didn't want me to turn out this way you shouldn't have raised me in this country." Anyway, sorry for my rambling.

I read one one of the book threads that you read the gunslinger. I just started the Dark Tower series and am on the 3rd book. What did you think of it?

Thanks. Looking at a couple animal related jobs. One of which has great hours and pays a lot. I'm going to have to live with my parents for a while because they are going under some financial hardship right now so they need my help. Can't leave them in the dust. But I'm sure you know how it is living with the parents. So i understand the insanity thing. They don't let me hang out with any of the few friends that I do have and recently mom found all of my wine bottles. So...you can guess where that leads to.

Life's good. Done with school, got me some internet, wasting time on this site when I should be finishing some job apps. Reading a book. And thinking about cars? :lol
