It's interesting you call it fluff. I also considered it so in the past, but have recently came to understand what they meant by beauty (could direct terms transmit those ideas in such a way the murder did?). There is also a lot of knowledge in fiction that has yet to be translated into any philosophical or other texts.
Non-fiction but somewhat cryptic, written in artistic language. And short philosophical novels. Like the Stranger. I quite like Camus obviously.
