I re-read this old post of yours. Lots of good info there that deserved a second look.
I've only been meditating about a year, and I find that it is most beneficial if I keep my focus locked on the mantra. I'm trying to incorporate areas of my SA that have been resistant to CBT, but it's very difficult to divert my attention from the mantra to some SA thought, feeling, or visualization, but it just breaks my rhythm.
in a few short sentences, how would you explain standing meditation? For me, sitting brings a state of deep relaxation that puts my mind/body in a meditative state. But, I'm always open to new techniques.
Yeah I know it sounds insane lol. But technically it's not the same thing as makeup, it's meant to hide tattoos. And it saves my life during school presentations. Up to you though..
