    hi

If you’re anything like I used to be, then you know how uncomfortable this is. It sucks to be talking to someone and suddenly your mind goes blank and you can’t think of what to say. You may be screaming inside to yourself: "Just say anything!" but it doesn't work.

I know what you mean, the DSM diagnosis are way too broad, I overlap into too many things to bother diagnosing myself.

I asked you about Zyprexa/Symbyax because I've heard from a few people who were even resistant to ECT (and many failed meds) that those two worked.

Well I started on Lamictal, still stuck at 25mg, slow taper up. Other than that trialling Luvox which just feels like a weak/watered down version of Lexapro so I'll probably switch back after giving it the month since it's done nothing for depression/ocd/whatever. Other stuffs the same.

Hmm perhaps your ritalin dose is too high for you, are you thinking of switching to concerta as mentioned in the thread?

Alrite hope the ECT goes well, treatment resistant depression is a *****. Ever tried Zyprexa or Symbyax? I'm seeing my psychiatrist at the end of the week, gonna ask for a nuclear combo.

There's honestly not much to be had against ECT, a lot less side effects than meds. Try it once? :p

I'm not a pot smoker either, not good for my anxiety but some isolated cannabinoids show promise! You mentioned ECT in your post on gilmourr's thread, lol.;)

You love the herb and you don't take yourself so seriously. Really, I mean what do we really know about how the brain functions and metal illness. There's always more to learn. You don't act like some psychopharmacologist. Ya, know the people who just stay home read pubmed, diagnose people on the forums, and then recommend all kinds of meds. and think they should have a neuropsychopharmacy degree!!! Without taking one class at the university.;p
Hi, my names Chris and I am currently on day 3 in getting my masters in psychopharmacology!:D

damn, i didn't realize that you'd undergone so many surgical procedures. truly sorry to hear and hope that you are, indeed, on the upswing of things, both mentally and physically. i hope that should you proceed with dbs that it works out for you. lyrica, as well.

why were you placed on pregabalin? pregabalin is a major cns depressant and since you're suffering from intractable mdd, i'd think that that wouldn't be the wisest of choices. that and, suicidal ideation as well as suicidal actions are reported side effects, according to pfizer, of pregabalin. it drove me into the deepest of depressions i've experienced in my entire life.
