Yo, it's Nick. How's life? I can't seem to access my old account, so I started one with a name almost exactly like it lol. I messaged Helena, the global mod, hoping for some help. Anyway, I was in NYC recently and unable to find your number in my phone because for some reason, my contacts didn't merge when I switched to my most recent one. Just wanted to say "Hey, I'm not dead, hope you're not dead either. Too. Or something." Lol.

On seeing your avatar I was gonna quote the Secret Song but it's already been done I see.

But yeah. MR. BUNGLE. Like, all I've been listening to for the past few months is Bungle and FNM.

I hear ya. PM'ing is good. About three weeks ago I found out my license is actually gone for the next year and a half, rather than the next half year, so that's a drag. Other than that, things are pretty good. I got two raises somehow; I think whoever gave them to me was high, but hey that's cool lol. Really I'm uncomfortable in the summer so I'm glad that's gonna wrap up in another month or so. I've been volunteering at the United Way and I manage their warehouse (in the morning, after my real job), which is also exhausting. So it's a full life if nothing else...

I'm gonna hit the bed so I'll send you a PM later if I don't hear from you first.

Thanks, it was alright. Haha, yeah was too bad how it ended. Was a good game though, and the Bruins outplayed Montreal for most of it. Jeez, they just couldn't capitalize on their chances. So many missed nets and guys fanning on the pucks. I think they will be fine, they play early tomorrow so I'll be able to watch it before work.

New York. It helps be a bit to have a goal about taking pictures out in the wilderness, to get out more. Or it used to anyway, when I used to try to take awesome pictures and put them on Flickr.

Have you been trying to do less Internet lately a bit? I'm trying to do that. Yeah I live in that general area as well, I hope to one day move further north again.

Hey alright, less cabin fever with the loss of snow and such. I'm about to do my lunch-time audio comedy ha. How are things there?

Hey! Yeah, I suppose. No, I wouldn't say it's as time consuming as people think. Ehh, not so great tbh, but the future looks bright! How have things been with you?

I see. I was at a standstill for a while. I feel like im finally moving but it still going to be difficult... Well, I'm having a movie meetup that day, with some SA members. I posted it. I dunno if I can attend that Fat Cat meetup.

    hi

If you’re anything like I used to be, then you know how uncomfortable this is. It sucks to be talking to someone and suddenly your mind goes blank and you can’t think of what to say. You may be screaming inside to yourself: "Just say anything!" but it doesn't work.

Yeah, I've noticed that when I have a lot going on I'm generally more anxious. Now that I'm out of school and not stressing about it all the time I've felt much more comfortable out in public, and less anxious around people. So while I don't have much going on for a while it seems like a good time to really tackle my SA issues. Physically the stress and anxiety is definitely exhausting - my head often feels like a mess when I'm anxious/stressed out.

Thanks, hope things improve for you too. It definitely is nice being able to talk about these things with people, even if it's by text on the internet.

Not a problem. The anxiety always seems to creep back, even when we think we're getting past it. I'm also out of school now (just dropped out Friday, my SA was worse than ever) and am taking the year off to work on coping with and improving my anxiety and work full time. It is nice to know that there are others out there who we can relate to, that's for sure. Hope things improve for you.

Too bad the Islanders don't have better goaltending or they could probably be a lot better - probably could have even beaten the Penguins in the first round. Yeah, I liked Seguin but right now Eriksson is a better fit, and he plays the RW naturally. He had some great 30+ goal seasons with Dallas but sort of went under the radar a bit. Also supposed to be one of the better defensive wings in the league, so with him and Bergeron on the same line, plus Chara/boychuk they should shut top lines down.

Aw that's no good. I've been having some anxiety issues with school too, but I'm taking 3 classes this semester and struggling a bit. Do you plan to go back to school at some point? How far along are you?
