Default So I talked in class for 20 minutes today

I can't believe I did it. I have been freaking out about my senior-level seminar requirement since first year, but it went surprisingly well. I spoke a little too quickly and a little too quietly, but my classmates were responsive to my seminar and a few people told me they liked it. Even the professor seemed like he didn't hate it. I thought I read off the page too much, but when I have to present again for next semester's seminar class, I'll know how to improve.

Holy crap, I am so relieved and so happy right now.

Seconding this comment! I know I'd be lucky to get through a minute let alone twenty before my anxiety symptoms got the better of me!

Damn 20 minutes, I think preparing to have enough material to talk about for 20 mins would be tougher then actually being up in front of a class

well done

Don't you love the feeling after you finish a presentation that has been haunting you for weeks? You almost feel like your in an excited, new state of mind

Oh God, you went 20 minutes?!? I had to do a speech for about 5 minutes and I thought I was going to puke! I read off the cards the whole time even though I knew the info by heart. Awesome job! I would NEVER be able to do that!

This is great, I get inspiration and encouragement from such experiences. My biggest fear is public speeches
