Default Presented talk in class, not too bad...

Today I had to present my talk on the Australian Internet Filter in English class. Now, obviously I was bloody nervous about this but I managed to get through it, without going red or faltering to often, which was an improvement. I also looked up at my audience and tried to talk clearly and loudly enough, I think it worked. Although I did notice people giving odd looks at times, so I'm slightly suspicous and paranoid about the whole thing still.

I wouldn't be worried about any weird looks, when I see someone presenting I dont even look at them pretend im not paying attention, I figure this would help them feel more comfortable.

Another piece of advice when it comes to public speaking for me is I always force myself to volunteer first if we have that option. Nobody is judging you their all just worried about themselves. Its funny I think public speaking is the one social situation that mostly everybody has a problem with, I actually think some peoplele with SA are at a slight advantage when it comes to public speaking because were use to feeling nervous around people.

It sounds like you did alright. Every experience I've had with public speaking has become a disaster

Well done. The great thing about presentations in class is that people most likely won't remember it the next day.

No, they'd just think that they're making a very convincing argument
