Social Anxiety Support

So Im almost through my first week!
Its gone better then I expected, a few awkward moments (mostly due to the fact that the guy Im supposed to be working with is not here this week! so there are times where i am just twittling my thumbs like uhhhhh what do I do now????....God I HATE those moments...it just is EXTRA awkward). I work in a lab and most of the other ppl here are asian, and when I say asian I mean straight off the boat asian, and In my life what I have experienced is asians are the nicest ppl on the planet, and it is definitely true here, they all have extended out to me and told me that I can ask them for help about anything and whenever I need.
