Default Gave a short presentation

So I made a short presentation in class today. My heart was beating super fast before I was called on to speak, I thought I was going to faint or something. But, I did it. I guess that's something positive. Afterwards I had to do the cognitive part of the CBT, writing down my automatic negative thoughts. I'm not sure how much it made me feel better. Maybe a little.

Not sure how many times I'll get to practice this new behavior... it's always nerve wrecking... (wrecks my nerves)... it's like... if i have something to say, before I even raise my hand my heart start pounding... i could actually hear my heart pounding... like literally... the beat was very loud in my ears... i was like 'i hope nobody else can hear my heart beating'... anyway... enough ramble... if I can do it you can too! SO DO IT!

I am happy for you! Way to go! I hate presentations sometimes but once you get into the presentation you forget about nerves and just get used to being up there. I always feel like a ton is lifted off my shoulders after I present.
