Default Found a Club

I'm at a new college this year, and being away from all my friends, I decided to try and join a club. Well, since the semester started quite a bit of time has passed, and I had made some efforts to try and get to know people, but really haven't made any friends, and I wasn't able to find a club I was interested in joining.

I really wanted to join a club as a way to get to know people, but I hadn't seen any clubs I wanted to join. Then one day, I was walking to class, and I saw on a bulletin a flyer for a club that plays with handicapped children on weekends. And I thought to myself, "You know what, that sounds like a club that could be pretty fun, and the people are probably nice too." So I wrote down the contact information, and I have gotten in contact with them.

If all goes according to plan, I will be able to meet the club for the first time next week. I am a little nervous, but I hope they turn out to be some nice people, and I am able to make a few friends.

Well, so far, everything is going great with the club. The moment I walked in the door everyone was really nice and welcoming. The club has a really nice atmosphere, and I haven't felt any anxiety at all so far with them. I'm going with them tomorrow to play with the handicapped children for the first time, so I'm looking forward to it.
