Default Did somethin' out of the ordinary today.

Normally, I don't talk, or am too shy to do so.

So, today, during computer graphics, I tried to ease myself into talking in people's conversations (you know, the normal kind, not the rude stuff). So, we had to get some paper, and the girl on the end of our line of computers said to her friend to get one, and her friend didn't want to, so I needed the paper too, asked them what paper we need (which I still would be scared to do), and got it for them. Then I joked after we folded it and said Ha, got 8 instead of 6 (folding for boxes or whatever) and I got a diamond in the middle too, made her laugh.

I feel better about doing that, and it gave me a little confidence boost.

very cool

i've done this. like if i'm going to the trash can anyway, i take someone else's. doing something nice but not out of your way is a great way to break the ice with someone.

My problem is going past the sort of "ice breaker things" I do. Tomorrow I have gym, so I'm hoping to build more on getting acknowledged by this girl I'm interested in. She said "Yeah, what he said" when I cracked a joke during stretches when someone was whining, so I wanna talk more.

I think I could use this stupid experience today to build on it. Hopefully it goes well. :>

Not much of a joke, since I suck at making things up on the spot, but we were stretching / doing warmups for the tennis unit, and a guy was complaining about arm circles, and I joked and said "Cause you'll pull a hammy if you don't." I thought it was dumb, but whatever. :A

Tomorrow I'm gonna be freaked out, I know it.
