I bought this book few years ago, around 2006 I believe.
From memory, it shows you study cases of people with shyness and social anxiety. What situations that trigger most fears and what exercises you could do to reduce the fear. Such as ringing an authority to set up an appointment. It also shows you study case of negative self-talk or worst case scenario thinking. Such as I went to the party and I am quiet. Everyone must think I'm BORING. So I spend all my time in the kitchen. Then the book shows you exercises to challenge these type of negative thinking. |
