I experience this sometimes, too. Right after I lay down to go to sleep, my heart starts racing and I feel like I can't breathe. Do you take meds before you go to bed? I was thinking that's maybe what causes my bedtime anxiety attacks.

I don't take meds but it does happen to me also. Mostly when I am about to go to bed or if I am just relaxing (lying down). Whenever it hits me I have to just ride through it. An unpleasant feeling but eventually I do calm down. Slow, deep breaths help a bit.
