Default Teen with SA

I believe I suffer with SA...I have most of the symptoms, but not as much as the physical symptoms (sweating and panic attacks). I have seen a few therapist but they dont help much. I feel like i suffer with it mainly in school and occasionally outside of school. In school it feels like people really dont give you a chance to show them who you really are. Does anyone else have SA like this, meaning that you are different in different situations (like me in school)?

Yes I believe I'm starting to get like this too. I'm generally okay when it comes to hanging out with friends. I think it is because they are my friends and I trust them. However when I meet new people that gets me anxious. I'm also anxious a lot in school. I'm just around so many people. I worry about what they think of me, especially if I want them to be a potential friend. Then there are people who make me nervous because I don't like them at all or they are demeaning to people.
Yes I totally understand what you are saying and I think it happens quite often. People have anxiety that differs in different situations.

I'm very anxious out of school but I go to an all girls' private school so there isn't really that many people for me to be intimidated by and I tend to be very different in different situations also

Yes, I am anxious around new people. Not at all though around my family and close niche of friends. I have two completely different personalities. The outgoing funny girl with people that are close in my life. Or else I'm the sweet shy girl at school with acquaintences. I have struggled with SA being a lot worse previously, and I feel like I've been getting better when it comes to putting myself out there.
