Ive just stopped socialising even though i really want to and now im sat here while loads of people where i live are out together and ive decided not to go as usual. can anyone help? does anyone else feel like this?

I guess it could be a phase. If you could get back to how you were it would be great since that kind of lifestyle is not your taste. Well all i can suggest is give it more time =)
Sulking will give you wrinkles so smile smile smile hehehe

I feel like that right now and also don't really know why. I haven't avoided going out with me people though. I guess you just have high and low points. I would try to go out with people as hard as it is because in the short term avoidence makes you feel better but is very bad in the long term. I would look at the reasons why you feel your so anxious about going out. Do you feel your going to embarass yourself, feel like people will get a bad impression of you, don't want people to see you like that, feel like your boring, etc. Then try to challenge your beliefs and have your therapist work on them with you. Thats what I'm doing and it helps.
