Default Social Anxiety Treatment Study - Toronto, Ontario

Researchers in the Department of Psychology at Ryerson University are seeking individuals with Social Anxiety Disorder to participate in a treatment study. The purpose of this study is to compare Cognitive Behavioural Group Therapy and Mindfulness and Acceptance-Based Group Therapy in the treatment of Social Anxiety Disorder.

If you are between 18 and 65 years of age, and suffer from social anxiety, you may qualify for this study.

i remember seeing this study last summer. I had already gone to camh but i wonder how well Mindfulness and Acceptance works.

Thanks for posting this; I've been trying to get into cbt group therapy for a while now with no success. I really haven't researched mindfulness and acceptance-based therapy that much.
