Default Participate in anxiety research, get paid!

Hello there,

My name is Tania and I am a PhD student at the University of Waterloo. We are currently looking for individuals who are living with anxiety symptoms (including social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, generalized anxiety, and others) to participate in studies at our Centre for Mental Health Research. Participants are compensated monetarily for participating. Would you be willing to inform your members know about our organization through posting our pamphlet at your location in case some of them are interested in participating in our studies? Please let me know and I will send you a copy of our flyer.

I seriously doubt that anyone with SA bad enough to seek the help of an online forum feels comfortable enough to participate in a study. It doesn't matter how much they're getting paid.

I would do it, but it's too far away. I've participated in a few long term research studies for depression and SA, and they were wonderful, because all therapy and meds. were paid for, plus I got monetary compensation.

I went to UWaterloo and had to drop out my first year because of SAD...

Medications I've tried: escitalopram, bupropion, venlafaxine, sertraline, nortriptyline, hydroxyzine, lorazepam, diazepam, temazepam, clonazepam, zopiclone, mirtazapine, trazodone, quetiapine, olanzapine, paliperidone

Currently taking: 2mg nortriptyline hs(tapering), 7.5mg-15mg zopiclone hs, 2mg clonazepam prn

No in-person interviews. I hate those enough as it is (for jobs and school), and certainly wouldn't do it to talk about SA.
