Default Where do I go? What do I do?

I'm at the point where I finally want to get realistic help for my SA, but I'm 20 and still covered under my parents' insurance. I don't really want them to know. Do I just go to my "regular" doctor as a physical check up and ask him about this? Can he give me a prescription for medication?

I'm not sure I want to really go see a shrink, but I wasn't sure if you have to in order to get prescriptions for these types of things. I just don't know what to do, where to go, what to say.

That part is exactly right, if you have a good "regular" doctor. Then she or he will refer you. You need an expert to diagnose your condition. The garden-variety family M.D. can't do it and neither can you.

Yeah the doctor you'd go to see if you had developed a minor skin condition, that guy. His job is to recognise symptoms properly and refer you to the appropriate specialist.
