I don't have experience with therapy (trying to find the courage to go for the first time!), but the way I see it is this:
Whether it cures your ailments entirely, or just "feel better by encouragement," isn't anything better than doing nothing at all? Isn't any sort of help better than sitting at home hoping it'll sort itself out? Even if all they do is make you feel a little better, isn't that worth it? I mean, isn't that our general goal in life, to feel better and be happy? |

Listen, go and do it. Going to therapy is getting help. If you are on a online forum seeking help, it seems that SA has been impacting your life negatively. So get out there and get help you need -- it's worth a shot, what have you got to lose? It's helped so many people out there and they point you in the right direction. There's nothing wrong with that!
