A lot of the 12 steps involve how we have hurt others in our relationships, and making amends for doing so. SAs, having such limited social lives, and so few relationships, probably haven't hurt too many people, and don't have a lot of people to make amends to. I'd say SAs have probably been hurt more by other people, than they have hurt other people.

I've never heard of a 12 Step Program curing anyone of SA, since SA is not an addiction...
