Does anyone get the feeling that certain things in life are planned, or the universe sends you some sort of guidance?

I dont believe in god or a higher power, but Ive always had the feeling I have some sort of guide to whats about to happen, or more like somethings trying to tell me something big is going to happen.

The last few weeks have been hard to explain. A few weeks before I found out I was pregnant, I started talking to my belly for some reason, this was before I had any clue, then I felt like there was babies and mothers everywhere I went! A few weeks ago I was moved by watching Oprah and the episode was about motherhood (lol yes I watch Oprah). Again, BEFORE I had a clue~! Even the conversations with my mother and sister were about babies and motherhood going back a few weeks up until I found out!
Now all I can see is baby this and baby that! When I dont intentionally look for it. Sure part of my subconcious is probably interested in baby stuff right now, so it just picks up on these things. But I cant explain this feeling before an event that this is planned, my life is planned and some force is trying to warn me of something life changing before.

This has happened before other life changing events. I got the 'signs' before other significant events in my life.

On another related note: But maybe more of a scientific point: Does anyone think womens hormonal clocks are 'in tune' with others and that women can pick up on other womens 'hormones'. Maybe thats why my sister and mother have been rather 'clucky' about babies and mothers lately? I think this is more of a science.

I think the angel on your shoulder is hormones also. Your body was speaking to you and telling you, you were pregnant. I think our bodies and abilities are so vast and deep that it appears "spiritual", since we can't understand it. That by no means takes any of the mystery out of it for me.

I find it very odd that you should mention "angel on my shoulder". I've recently been getting this strange feeling as of late as if I'm being watched, or something is "there" right near my left shoulder whenever I'm alone in a room. I even had a dream about it yesterday, where an angel of sorts in the form of a ball of white light was watching over my life. Strange much?
